RECIPES

Seasoned Quinoa

Ingredients:

  • Part 1 2 cups quinoa
  • 4 cups water (can also be 3 cups depending on desired texture)
  • ⅓ cup onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, diced
  • 2 tsp Chicken Style Seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder Salt to taste

Part 2

  • 1 medium carrot, shredded
  • 1 small head broccoli, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil ¼ cup onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp Chicken Style Seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, diced Salt to taste Mushroom Fajitas
  • 12 oz sliced portobello mushrooms
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red, bell pepper sliced
  • ½ red onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp Chicken Style Seasoning
  • ½- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 ½ tsp Mrs Dash Salt-Free Seasoning
  • Salt to taste

 

Bake at 375 for 20 mins

  • Dr. Cooper’s Mushroom Gravy
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, mashed then minced
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cups soy milk
  • 1-2 Tbsp. Braggs Liquid Aminos/soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp basil or sage
  • 1-2 tsp chicken-style or savory seasoning of choice
  • 3 sprigs thyme

 

Sauté garlic, onions, and mushrooms in a medium-sized pot, using a small amount of water. Then add the remaining ingredients. Whisk flour in slowly to prevent clumping (your may also mix the flour with a small amount of cold water to ease the process of whisking it in). Simmer for another 5 to 7 minutes until thickened. Enjoy!
